Product information
The Seagate Exos X Advanced Storage Arrays are advanced, rack-mountable, petabyte-scale block storage systems equipped with advanced data protection options and multiple storage features. Based on VelosCT ASIC controllers, these systems provide a highly valuable solution for applications that require significant storage capacity, outstanding performance, minimal latency and continuous availability. They are the ideal mass storage solution for traditional data center and cloud infrastructure applications.
Seagate's unique self-repair technology ensures unprecedented continuous availability, supported by ADAPT Erasure Coding for disk group rebuilds and Autonomous Drive Regeneration (ADR), which enables automatic disk recovery.
Seagate's Exos X advanced storage arrays, with their VelosCT ASIC-based controller architecture, offer significant performance gains that are beneficial in small to enterprise-wide deployments. They include a variety of disk group protection options, including ADAPT and ADR, as well as essential software features such as virtual pools, thin provisioning, SSD read cache, auto-tiering, snapshots and asynchronous replication.
With an enterprise-class design, they also offer a wide range of features that allow organizations of any size to easily manage cable connections, universal ports, auto-configuration controls, and replaceable power supplies.
