Product information

Proxmox Backup Server is a software package for backing up virtual machines, containers and complete hosts, locally and synchronized to other sites.
It uses deduplication and compression to reduce data capacity. It is controlled via its own GUI, which also allows the recovery of individual files and folders. Scripts are also possible, as well as full integration with Proxmox VE.
Unlike Proxmox VE, the backup server is not installed in a cluster but on individual machines. However, the data can be synchronized to other storage systems, also at other locations/fire protection zones, in order to achieve redundancy here as well.
EUROstor installs this software on specially configured ES-3000 servers of different sizes, on request also with SSD storage for especially fast restores.
Especially in combination with the Proxmox clusters this is a perfect solution to protect against data loss.
Proxmox systems can be purchased as an open source solution with or without service (see table below).
