Product information

ES-8700 Open-E JovianDSS Cluster is also available as Cluster-in-a-Box: two mainboards in one enclosure with shared NVMe backplane.
This allows a shared storage cluster to be set up with full NVMe performance.
Storage clusters with ZFS file system offer particularly high data security. The file system contains checksums of all data and addresses the individual hard disks directly, without a RAID controller, so that even individual defects of a disk can be detected and corrected immediately. In addition, practically any number of snapshots can be created without any loss of performance.
The cluster supports iSCSI as well as NFS and CIFS connections.
In addition, the data can also be replicated asynchronously to another fire protection zone via a network connection (On-& Off-Site Data Protection, OODP). On the other hand, only a single ES-8700 Open-E JovianDSS system is required. Alternatively, a cluster can be used to ensure full performance in the event of a site failure.
This system has been certified by Open-E.
