Product information
Scale Computing's modern virtualization platform combines servers, storage, virtualization and disaster recovery in a single solution, making these systems the perfect infrastructure solution for any data center as well as for all remote offices of a company.
With its own operating system and a KVM-based hypervisor, no additional licensing costs are incurred. Snapshot-based incremental backups allow data to be backed up and restored to another system or cluster in a different fire zone. A virtual machine import function is also included in the product scope.
Especially for edge computing Scale Computing offers the extremely compact HE150 series. Three of them fit into a 1U rack slot, or they can be easily stacked and take up virtually no space at just under 12 cm wide. Each of them is a complete node with an NVMe SSD up to 8 TB. Triple mirrors allow them to form a cluster with all software functions.
For larger application scenarios, e.g. in data centers, there are of course also the rackmount server based versions from simple HE500 with Intel Xeon-E processors up to the large HE5000 systems. Many models are completely or additionally equipped with NVMe SSDs. Also systems with GPU for acceleration of data processing are offered.
