Product information

EUROstor offers with the EonStor CS series a scalable NAS storage for unstructured data. The systems combine high performance and capacity with high data security at the same time. You can already start with one CS system. EonStor CS systems can be expanded either with JBODs (ScaleUp) or by adding further nodes (ScaleOut). Both is possible during operation without interrupting data access. By adding further CS nodes, the system performance and capacity is scaled linearly. The data is backed up twice: locally via HW RAID 5 or 6 and across the nodes via erasure coding or replica. In addition, replication can also copy the volumes to a second location via rsync. All CS systems form a cluster under a single namespace to eliminate data silos. The scale-out NAS is suitable for a wide range of data-intensive industries and applications, such as media and entertainment, high-performance computing (HPC), video surveillance archiving, file sharing, and backup.
