Open-E certifies two servers by Platinum Partner EUROstor for Open-E JovianDSS and DSS V7 software
Software specialist Open-E tested and certified the ES-8708XSS JDSS and ES-8724XSS with its proven storage management solutions

Open-E, a leading developer of innovative datastorage software used for building and managing reliable NAS and SAN storage environments,
has successfully certified two servers by Platinum Partner EUROstor. The storage specialist from Filderstadt, Germany supports leading enterprises worldwide in managing and protecting their storage, accounting for over 300 Open-E cluster installations to date.
The system certified for Open-E’s ZFS-based JovianDSS storage management software is the ES-8708XSS JDSS, a flexible high performance solution that can be easily deployed in any environment and for a variety of applications. In combination with Open-E JovianDSS the server offers great adaptability, tiered and all-flash storage setups, high IOPS through RAM and SSD caching as well as first-rate expandability with EUROstor’s high-density JBODs. The ES-8708XSS JDSS is also a perfect fit for Mirrored Shared Storage setups, providing redundancy not only with the cluster heads but also with the JBODs connected. Multiple host ports with up to 25GbE help to avoid data throughput bottlenecks.
The second certified storage server is the EUROStor ES-8724XSS with the XFS-based software Open-E DSS V7. It is well-suited for iSCSI and NAS storage solutions with snapshots and replication, and can also be configured as an Active-Active High Availability Cluster. The system offers everything that customers expect from a well-designed iSCSI system: each server can be provided with private volumes to set up real SAN networks on an Ethernet.
Open-E’s engineers recommend the server especially for iSCSI storage, backup storage and NAS filers.
