ES-6600 FC/SAS(SATA) RAID with RAID 6

EUROstor ES-6600 RAID systems with RAID 6 on ASIC can also be offered with faster Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) disks. Thus they cannot only be used for backup to disk, archiving anf small file servers, but also for databases ans other applications with need of high i/o rates.
SAS disks with 15,000 rpm are more then twice as fast as standard SATA disks. With their intelligent SCSI processor they further speed up data throughput, offering the same i/o rates as Fibre Channel disks.
Of course ES-6600SAS can also be equipped with SATA disks. In a mixed configuration to each application the appropriate storage can be assigned.

Other ES-6600 RAID systems:

• 16 or 24 SAS disks up to 600 GB each, max. 14,4.8 TB per box
