ES-8700 iSCSI/NFS Cluster
ES-8700 iSCSI/NFS Cluster build a highly flexible storage solution, that replicates synchronously iSCSI and optional NFS volumes and, with automatic failover, keeps them available even in the case of a system failure.
Additionally these systems can be used as file servers for Windows clients (CIFS), including replication (also over WAN) and snapshot functionality.
With the completely redesigned software version V6 of Open-E Data Storage Server EUROstor ES-8700 iSCSI and NAS RAID systems now are still faster and offer more features. And on the iSCSI side, “persistent reservation SCSI-3“ is now supported, enabling these systems to serve a Windows Cluster 2008.
Existing installations of Open-E DSS can easily be upgraded to the new V6 version.
ES-8700 has been successfully testet with VMware!
ES-8700DSS is also available as single node system and can be expanded to a cluster solution at a later time.
Open-E DSS is VMware ready and Citrix ready.
